followed up with, and i quote verbatim, ""last thing is to secure the bolts with a copper wire, and that takes about 10 to 20 minutes. then we are ready to go."
in that episode of the simpsons where homer went to space they were saved by an inanimate carbon rod. some copper wire should do the trick just nicely for an aeroplane.
